- I found A Conspiracy of Kings!!!!!!!!!!!! At a bookshop that I've been checking nearly every month in hopes that they'd get a copy, at their closing down sale, and it was the last copy. They must have been shelving it at a different place to where they put the rest of the series, or something. I grabbed that thing so fast it took me like ten minutes to believe it was actually in my hot little hands, I kept checking the cover to see if it was actually the book that I thought it was.

- Gunnerkrigg Court spoilers!!!!!!!!!!!! It is about time. I am slightly dying for what comes nect, but I should probably just leave the comic alone so I can read the next chapter or so all in one go.

- I will never be able to think of Vetinari the same way again!!!!!!!!!!!! (semi-sfw? Dude in ye olden day underwear)

The beard makes it so easy to imagine. Now I keep seeing Vimes & Vetinari conversations in a whole new light and wanting to go off in gigglefits.

Wait a couple of months! I have this terrible suspicion that the comic will be dancing around the exciting possible revelations for a while, rather than jumping straight into them.

Though it is hilarious to consider that ye olden underwear covered a lot more than some modern outerwear covers these days. XD

There was a Yuletide fic once with Vetinari, Sybil and Sam all sharing a hot tub. In my mind the discovery is made then, and is basically the cherry on top of Vimes's 'Why is this even happening?' sundae.

And srsly that is a LOT of underwear. It could only happen in a cold climate.

Tom Siddell is a total troll (although a very decent author-troll, not nearly as out there as e.g. Kubo Tite). I fully expect that we'll only see after-effects of the phone conversation, or flashbacks at a later date. A lot like the whole summer vacation with the fairies.
