Hi! Here's my optional extra info for the LBD Exchange. I tried to give potential romance hooks, whether for general dynamics or incidents that could happen in the fanworks. Feel free to build off the ideas any which way you're inspired to, or to ignore them - anything's good as long as my DNWs are taken into consideration. Notes on my opt-ins
- Always-a-different-gender: I like this trope for showing changes in the plot that came from the change in gender, style changes (especially in art), and/or brash non-conformance to gender norms.
- Crossovers: If you have any hint I'd like the other canon involved, then go for it. All the canons in my sign-up qualifies, but here are a few more ideas. Diana Wynne Jones books, Discworld, Girl Genius, John Wick series, Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell (book), Les Misérables (book), Mad Max: Fury Road, Penumbra Podcast: Juno Steel, Penumbra Podcast: Second Citadel, The Losers (movie), The Magnus Archives, The Umbrella Academy (show)
- Monster versions of canon characters: Feel free to go for your fave monsters, and for anything from having a totally different body and a strange mindset to a thin veneer of non-human qualities. I like selkies and demons a lot, as well as monsters with no particular names.
- Original characters: I like OCs as outsider POVs, for meeting the family scenarios, as ways to provide a character study of the canon character, for shameless indulgence in finding canon character hot, and/or having a 'second chance' vibe for canon characters who have messed up enough that most of the cast might not want to be with them.

Robot - I'm open to interpretation regarding Robot's gender. IIRC he/him was fine by Robot, but as of Ch 75: She Gave Us An Ocean and the bonus page, it looks like she/her or agender (as I've often seen angels interpreted) would also work. So the Other/Other tag on this request was chosen for convenience, and feel free to pick whatever gender you like for Robot and partner(s).
- Overwhelming sensation from new organic bodyparts
- New kinds of smiles shared with someone
- The Court's Shadow Men swoop in for reasons and Robot needs rescuing. Feelings ensue. ...Or feelings between Robot and one of the Shadow Men, that works too.
- Robot introduces someone to the cult creepiness
- That time Robot took Shadow back to the Forest turned out differently, and Robot stayed there. And got into a romance.
- Love advice that Robot gives to other robots, from the perspective of someone with relationship experience. This advice can be terrible, sweet, creepy, solid; whatever works. The relationship that provided the experience can be Shadow/Robot or something else.

Bro Strider - I'd much prefer a version of Bro that doesn't go into the child abuse with Dave at all. I headcanoned him as a disaster of a person but not as thoroughly awful as canon later went with, and still prefer a less serious interpretation.
- Meeting someone through the porn business.
- Bro's essentially an awkward cryptid, and his take on dating is hard for the average person to parse
- A relationship dynamic of not so much true love as remarkably compatible weirdness
- Hookups. Many skeezy hookups.
- Anything exploring the Lil Cal mind-control, whether that means Bro/Cal or a recovery vibe with someone else

Gamzee Makara
- makeouts while high (canonverse or AU)
- gets protective or vengeful on behalf of someone else
- romantic inclusion in clown cult rituals. Anything from face-painting to dancing to sex parties to loving blood sacrifice (this time, Gamzee's the one offering blood!), whatever works.
- writing slam poetry for a hated/loved/pitied one
- anything exploring the mind-control by Lil Cal & others. Someone surprised to discover it? Mutual recovery? Gamzee seeking out more mind control from someone because it's comforting?
- humanstuck. I think I'd like this mostly because of the opportunity for him still having messed-up things going on, but it being a lot easier for him to get out of them and have relationships less complicated by absolute fuckery (his own or others').

Jane Crocker
- cooking for or with someone
- enjoying xeno traits A Lot
- someone gets pale for her. Jane is way more into it than she bargained for.
- breaking free from CrockerCorp influences with someone. Maybe freedom-fighting together. Could go well with business story tropes? Corporate espionage, detecting budget issues that alert her to strange happenings within CrockerCorp, investigating odd requests from the R&D department...
- more of the canon mind-control aftermath and recovery with someone else who's undergone the same

Mallek Adalov
- At least one piercing was given by someone Mallek liked very much. And/or he gave at least one person he liked a lot a tattoo.

- Why Mallek is particularly drawn to 'rude bitches' (judging by his rapid crush on the Friendsim PC)
- Escaping the empire and finding new things to do and new people to meet

PM
- Meeting people in the desert. The canon desert seems to have been fairly empty of prospects up till she found AR and WV, but an AU version is good too.
- 'Mendicant' has religious connotations; maybe she can bond with one of the other religious characters
- The kind of relationships she had as a pawn, the kind of relationships she has when she's made it all the way across space and time and whatever might be metaphorically described as 'the board'
- AU where she does end up being the Prospitian Monarch, and how that affects her relationships. Or maybe a new and unexpected queen in a fantasystuck setting - with a harem, or loyal and very loving knights/handmaids, or a royal spouse...

Sasagawa Kyouko
- I love that time Kyoko was ready to deck Mochida for treating her as a prize, and like to imagine it's not the first time her friends have held her back from things like that. Maybe love interest is surprised to see Kyoko get fighty, or she throws a punch at someone and a most unexpected enemies-to-lovers situation ensues.
- Something food-based. Cooking for someone, getting a favourite treat as a gesture, hand-feeding, etc.
- Kyoko gets thrown in at the deep end, and impresses someone with how she is able to adapt.
- Someone asking about or helping out during that time in the Millefiore Arc where she suppressed a lot of her memories, or when she has a similar issue at another time. Or a lighter take on her powers of denial, like a spin on 'didn't know they were dating'.
- Love interest helping her train a dying will flame, or undergoing the lessons alongside her. I like mist, sun, and desert flames for her.

Lal Mirch
- The ultimate trainer takes on a new student, and someone at the new place (student or otherwise) is interesting to her.
- TYL timeline, letting herself get closer to people now that the world is starting to be all right again
- Adverse effects of the Arcobaleno curse half-affecting her, and how she and a love interest might handle it
- On a mission for COMSUBIN or CEDEF, meeting someone during it. Or undercover as a couple.
- Surprised to get romantic interest despite her own bitter attitude
- A post-apocalyptic hook-up with desperate tenderness and looking for connection (whether the canon semi-apocalypse of TYL or an AU version).

Irie Shouichi
- Meeting someone, or various love interests, over the course of his time travel misadventures.
- I love that timeline where Shoichi was a rock star. Anything about hedonistic nerd rocker sexventures, or a band AU (onstage kissing? jamming together?).
- Trying to show affection while he's still a double agent, but not really being able to.
- Being the most unexpected badass and someone being into it.
- Troubles with the TYL Vongola crowd as he has to convince them of his good intentions. At least one ends up very convinced, or so generally emotionally overwhelmed that fight/hatesex ensues. Or getting closer to Tsuna, Hibari, and/or Spanner, who stand by him while the others are still processing that they can trust him.

Paranatural

- His secret comes out. (Whether presidency or vampirism.) Could cause trouble in an established relationship, could cause someone to decide to stand by him when others turn away, could be taken as a hilarious joke or a cover-up of the Real Truth...
- Cody's relationship to vampire romance tropes. Maybe with a dose of anime/manga vampire tropes too, in the style of canon.
- Someone, or some spirit, gets the better of him; who can he rely on to help him?
- A dang cute date. Perfectly normal, or indulging in supernatural powers together.

Twilight Series

Sam Uley - I'm up for anything regarding the canon relationship with Emily. The ship being Sam/Emily, the imprint somehow being broken, the imprint turning platonic because that's what she needs from him now, an open relationship...
- Has a nice break with somebody. The 'first to wolfsplode' life is a real tough one and I'd just like anything where he chills, whether on a run through the forest together or out on a date or making sweet love, anything goes.
- Werewolf telepathy. Awkward moments, hot moments, or something else. Maybe one time when Sam accidentally lets slip something into the pack mind and they get curious - it must be a big deal if the alpha's giving himself away. Or maybe there's just worry about it, if he's irrationally nervous about what the others might say, despite having the power not to share his thoughts unintentionally.
- How would a werewolf and a vampire make it work, what with the scent issues? (There are more important issues, I realise, but I'm wondering how it would work on that basic level once the major stuff has been settled.)

Kisara
- Effects of the dragon living inside/through her. Whether it means she's scared of getting into relationships, or the dragon needs to be convinced of her love interest, or she resists magic in a way that intrigues the other person(s), anything.
- Modern AU where something similar to the power of the Blue-Eyes dogs her. My love of werewolf AUs could go here, or maybe something like a criminal past (Domino sure does have a fair supply of criminals).
- People you could meet while trudging through the length and breadth of Egypt. Or maybe she manages to make it out! Who could she find in a different land?
- Surviving Egypt Arc and getting lessons from someone on how to use magic ... somewhere along the line, attraction ensues.
- After Atem is sealed away, the nature of magic in YGOverse changes, and human spirits connected to the cards can choose to come back to life. Kisara breaks free and gets help adjusting.
- AU where she has a Millennium Item. Does she become a spirit inside it and get together with the wielder a few millennia later? Is she a priestess and much freer to get with someone else?

Shizuka
- She's an ordinary person dumped into damn weird adventures with no notice. I'd like to see anyone's opinion of how she handles things - surprise, admiration, wanting to push her further, curiosity, etc.
- Having a good time swimming together. In the anime she jumps right into the ocean to save Jounouchi once she takes her bandages off, she's got to be a strong swimmer.
- Exploring new things now that she's not so sick. Maybe even getting wild with it, so next thing you know she's run away with someone? But ordinary experiences and enjoying them with someone else is great too.
- AU where she has a Millennium Item. Does she get together with the spirit inside it, or meet someone else on her way to the destiny the Item has opened up to her?
- Crossover possibilities: Chihiro (Spirited Away)
