Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters (Anime & Manga)

Feel free to mix and match from the different versions of the main story, I've absorbed a mish-mash from personal consumption and osmosis and there shouldn't be anything that throws me too badly. I don't know the video games as well, though, so would prefer not much from those.

Kawai Shizuka/Kisara
I have a major soft spot for quiet types dropped into wild circumstances, and in very different ways, these two both qualify. Shizuka handles being dumped into the Battle City bizarreness with remarkable aplomb, especially considering she's also in recovery from a major operation, and Kisara probably just woke up one day and had to deal with a dragon living in her. And these two quiet types somehow finding each other and finding solace and fun and sweetness together is great. Feel free to AU things up to whatever degree, or use time travel to get them together. Other things I like with these two: Shizuka getting a really skewed idea of normal life due to her time with Yuugi and the gang, Kisara enjoying being around someone/a number of people who don't think she looks like a freak, 1-3 Blue-Eyes White Dragons.

Bakura Ryou/Honda Hiroto
Honda sometimes lightly stalking Bakura out of genuine concern and necessary paranoia delights me. Building off that or a more intense version of that dynamic would be great. Or leaning into the protectiveness would also be delicious, as I think it's something that Honda strives for now that he's off the bullying and something that Bakura would appreciate with how nuts his Millennium Ring'd life is. Also fun: if Honda is this ordinary guy, sweet underneath a tough guy exterior, while Bakura is getting very occult and having fun with creepiness.

Rishid Ishtar
He is sad and loyal and has made many terrible choices and been forced into others, and I would love more of all that. Turn the screw on the poor bastard, delve into what it was like for him to grow up, inflict more dark magic on him. But also! I would love anything where he's happy, gets shown loyalty, and is free of those wretched choices and gets to build a new life. And something art-specific I'm a sucker for: anything where his facial scarification is drawn as little hearts.

Dark Necrofear
Freaky monster mother is apparently just a thing that really works for me. If you've got an idea what she does in the monster world, I'd love to see it. I'd also be into seeing more of her terrifying thingbaby - is it alive, is it dead, is the answer to both "yes" - and anything where she affects a duel in one of those special YGO ways, whether with an OC or a canon character. I'm also into seeing the humans that the card monsters might have come from. I headcanon that she's from Kul Elna (the Dark Sanctuary effect made me think so much of the Thief King surrounded by those 99 ghosts), but feel free to use something else. Or different Dark Necrofears having different influences, like with Yuugi's Dark Magician vs Pandora's.

The receptionist/pet/beloved daughter : doting father/pet owner/employer relationship is an incredible mix. It cracks me up. Anything about the early days of how that dynamic got settled would be amazing, but also especially regarding how it settles much more on the dad & daughter side of things for Blitzo (and Loona eventually!). I'd also enjoy anything set in or closer to the main canon timeline where they're still working through things, but are getting a little better at communicating that they care for each other and in what ways they care for each other. It could also be interesting to see how outside points of view affect their relationship. Hellhounds seem to be mostly enforcers or guards, so Loona having a desk job might be something that people get weird about. And how usual is it for the relationship between a hellhound and owner (...contractor?) to get familial?

Stolas Goetia/Original Male Character(s)
I love Blitzo/Stolas, but find myself wondering who else he might have found attractive over the years, how else he might have found a fulfilling love life, or what else he might have learned about what wouldn't work for him in romance. Feel free to invent a character on the spot, use your established OC, take a Hellaverse background design and make that into a fully-fleshed character. It can be a happily ever after or terrible in a different way or bittersweet, anything. It's also fine if Stolas ends up with Blitzo, as long as he gets to explore dynamics with another person or multiple people.

More possible ideas:
- I've seen meta about how for a number of eps, it's basically like Blitzo is living in an action story while Stolas is living in a romcom. Maybe a similar approach - Stolas in a gothic romance, the other guy in a romcom? The other guy is in a paranormal romance, Stolas is in a political thriller and needs to be coaxed into seeing the situation as romantic?
- n+1 style. Romances that might have worked but Stolas just missed those chances, or dates that didn't work out between Apology Tour and Mastermind? Things like that.

They're good any which way - happy, angsty, hurt/comfort, funny, etc. Also: I've checked out dozens of things where they're figuring out trouble with sex and I'll take dozens more. Preferably with minions who are no longer in opposition to the girl, and accept that she defeated their lord fair and square, whether or not they're happy about it. I'd like if there's a range of heights here - I strongly feel that some of the minions should be able to loom over the girl, and the girl should be able to loom over others. Comical minions with underlying tragedy and/or good hearts are characters I tend to like a lot, but it's far from the only thing so please go in the direction that works best.
PS: I'd prefer if the girl doesn't have too many vibes of "purity". E.g. she's dressed all in glowing white, or her power comes from her innocence - that kind of thing. That's all pretty subjective though so don't worry about it too much.

Sentient Spaceship (any)/Stowaway (F)
I would like a mix of alien(s) and human(s) in this; the ship being human-made counts as human for this purpose, and alien-made counts as alien. This would be great whether there is a crew, or whether this is a ghost ship or robot-crewed ship with only the stowaway left.

Exasperated King/Kidnapped Princess Who Likes This New Kingdom Much Better
I'm fine with them being the same age or an age gap in whatever direction, but I would prefer that both be considered adult in their society, and portrayed as over 20. Feel free to make them any species you like, and I'm also cool with "king" and "princess" being changed up as long as the essence is maintained - so basically, "some kind of royal ruler"/"not fully a ruler, but born into a similar rank and technically would be an appropriate bride". And I didn't request any clothing porn tags, but would love fancy clothes and/or accessories.

Female Adventurer/Captive Male Drow Who Wants Her To Keep Him
Full disclosure: I know surface level things about drow, picked up from pop culture and actual play podcasts. Feel free to reinterpret or invent lore! I would most like a dynamic of an adventurer who is just doing her thing, expecting to roam freely, and then there's this captive opponent who really, really wants to belong to her. They're batshit and delightful, and love that they offer deeply bizarre happy endings for characters that were unlikely to get them otherwise. Also appealing: xeno (animalistic, different social mores, something coding or software -adjacent because they're game sprites, etc.); doing something weird and gamebreaking with their off-the-chain powers; Jasprose helping Davepeta with whatever it was Davepeta set off to do.

Gamzee Makara & Karkat Vantas
I like this as a relationship of extremes of feeling - I can take fluff and sweetness like you would not believe and would equally enjoy messy fuckery and emotional pain. They'd be interesting at any point in their timeline, from how they became friends on Alternia through to the messy end. Or "ends", considering the two timelines and how differently they interacted in them. Full disclosure: Gamzee's one of my faves and I don't buy the characterisation where he was always pure evil, and don't quite buy that he became pure evil (especially considering all the mind control going round), so I'd prefer those interpretations avoided. Also I do ship them in the red quadrants and can be convinced of the black quadrants, so feel free to go in those directions.

The Disciple
The freedom fighter & savage, mourning hermit combo is just real good. I'd love at least an element of her self-imposed withdrawal from society after a dream was destroyed, whether it's canon version or an AU take that gets her there. I'd also love anything that plays with her having Heart powers. Feel free to draw characterisation from the other Leijons or to go with a different take on her.

What was it like for her to work the system from inside while wanting to fight it? What was her concept of justice as opposed to what she had to enact? I'd also be into playing around with her adult title, whether it's something she picked or was assigned, what it might have been if she was no longer a neophyte, or it being symbolic of always wanting to feel like a neophyte? Feel free to draw characterisation from the other Pyropes or to go with a different take on her.

Feferi Peixes/Equius Zahhak
There's a lingering feeling in me like Equius could have been deeply weird about Feferi and it's a shame it never happened in canon. I'd love something where either he's getting tangled up in trying to figure out how to treat her without dehydrating to death and she has to deal with this, or something where they're older and figuring out together how they'd like their morality to shake out, maybe in an Alternian Rebellion AU. Plus, can't lie, I'd love loyalty kink elements where he swears himself to her in some kind of service.

Gamzee Makara/Tavros Nitram
I love the interpretation that finding Tavros dead contributed massively to Gamzee going off the deep end. This lowkey crush had a touch of the epic! What could have changed if Vriska hadn't killed Tavros? How did the friendship evolve into that? I prefer this requited, in an AU way or just where Tavros isn't as overwhelmed by Gamzee's confession and decides he'd like to reciprocate.

Lil Hal/Equius Zahhak
Arquiusprite convinced me that these two could approach being soulmates and I love the odd-coupleness of it, and that these two who often feel unappreciated could absolutely revel in things about each other. It probably wouldn't work as smoothly if they weren't melded into sharing a brain, but getting to understand each other would also be a fun process. Feel free to have Hal in a body or in sunglasses.

Jane Crocker/Diamonds Droog/Spades Slick
Mashing noir vibes together into something beautiful and deadly, basically; Detective Crocker would go so nicely with these mobsters. But I'd also be into something where Jane encounters carapacians and it feels like it's out of absolute nowhere. Maybe these two end up being her exiles while she plays the game due to some twists of paradox space, or it's a carapacian invasion AU, or something. Jane's doing her best to maintain her status as Very Normal and then there's two old timey monsters who look like chess bugs to deal with. PS that part of Jane's intro where it said she's into "frightening fauna" got me projecting monsterfucker onto her so feel free to make Droog and Slick get real xeno.

Lil Hal/Dirk Strider
Please let these two drive each other to the limit constantly. Messy and narcissistic, or/and one of very few comforts out there on the isolated ocean. I'm down for it ending in a break-up, or not even having got stable enough to involve something described as a break-up. Feel free to have Hal in a body or in sunglasses.

Nepeta Leijon/Equius Zahhak
I love them in their rocky early relationship where Equius is overly controlling, I love them when they're way cuter and more equal just before they bit the dust. It would also be fun to see how they and their relationship might have changed as they got older, whether in a No-Game AU or in a canonverse where they lived (no need to go doomed timeline with it, either). Pale is preferred, but I can be convinced of red (or rails with pails).

It just gets to me that this relationship, by implication, contributes a lot to Daraya not feeling such major despair. Any quadrant works for me, though I'd prefer no cheating on Stelsa in case of ♥.

I'd love a blackrom where they needle each other in a million ways, and have a wonderful, satisfying time of it - and also make an excellent team when they have reason to stand together against someone else. Also: size difference, and Tagora learning to let go of his nerves when it comes to feeling weaker than Galekh.

Mallek Adalov/MS Paint Adventures Reader
I prefer 'they' etc. for the Player Character's pronouns, but picking a gender is fine by me too, or second-person POV to avoid all that. I really like anything with exploration of Mallek's slightly sinister side, them getting to know each other without the FRIENDSHIP compulsion, missing scenes during the timespan of the game, how much of an absolute goober the PC can be and Mallek being very into that, and that whole thing with the PC in Mallek's hoodie (snuggling into it for comfort! wearing Mallek's mark!).

Karako Pierot
His cheery little-boy-lost thing is adorable, and his ability to access DIY Clownhalla is fantastic. I'd be down for either side - how he goes about everyday life when there are so many things that mark him as different, how things change for him as he grows; or meta adventures where he challenges the structure of his world, probably the universe next door, and several stories at once.
